Re: Recall malfunction indicator light not illuminated

Okay no problem and thanks for the reply. I will book it in when I can get time off work and no i do my own servicing so will have to arrange it. Any ideas on how long it will take them? Mine was done at the same time as some warranty work. I probably dropped it off in the morning and collected it ...

Re: Recall malfunction indicator light not illuminated

Okay thanks did you know if it changed any characteristics of the engine performance eg mpg,Power ? Was it worth doing? I'm sure mine was done, and I certainly didn't notice a difference in the car. I think it's worth doing given that emissions tests are getting stricter all the time. If you are st...

Re: Car park accident

If the damage is under a grand I avoid insurance claims. Even if it's not your fault the renewal question is always 'have you made a claim in the last xx. Bang! There goes your premiums. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk The question is always any accidents, claims or convictions so you should r...

Re: First service Astra sri 1.0

When my car needed it's first service I went into my supplying dealer and was quoted a price. I mentioned it was cheaper online and I was told that was for cars over three years old. I booked the car in, but went back online when I got home and sure enough the lower price was applicable to my car. I...

Re: Service schedule ?

As above, will be due it's second service. Brake fluid isn't an official part of that service, but Vauxhall do recommend it's changed every two years. Vauxhall agreed to pay for my second service as a gesture of good will due to messing me about, and even paid for the brake fluid change.
