Re: Filling Up

My owners handbook states "After automatic cut-off, it can be topped up with max. two doses of fuel", so that says to me that you can fill to third click off. It still won't read full though. Mine does now, but I've no idea exactly what they did to it, I know it had a new fuel tank at VX Luton, but ...

Re: Tyre wear

still got the bridgestones but don`t like them and can`t wait to change them , fancy michelin cross climates. They are noisy, but apart from that I can't fault them. Both rears on my car have been changed due to punctures, both are mid range but I didn't have a lot of choice as they were both emerg...

Re: Tyre wear

My car is on it's original Bridgestones on the front. After 35000 miles they're down to about 3mm.

Re: Filling Up

I have a theory on this. I think the tank is quite a bit bigger than 48 litres, but due to the design you can only get 48 litres in with normal filling. Unfortunately the cars software still thinks the car has a bigger capacity so the fuel gauge (and Onstar if you have it) works on the basis of a 52...

Re: heater problem

I'd say it's not right, the heater is great on my 1.0T, although mine is standard air-con, not climate control.

Re: Remote Central Locking

I had that a few times with mine in the early days. Took a long time to get someone to recognise the fault but eventually got it fixed. I'm not sure what they did though, and when I look at the online service history there's no mention of it. I used to lock mine with the Onstar app and as long as I ...

I've not seen that option either, how do you get to it in the menu?

Re: DAB Retune receiver

Yes, it's not a problem with the car, the stations have moved so you need to retune to still get them.

Re: Anyone else still having problems with the forward facing camera?

I think it's condensation in the camera housing. When I get the messages I've got out the car and surprise surprise, the camera is misted up even though the rest of the windscreen is clear. I've been back to vauxhall to inform them it still mists up even after the new bracket. The garage said they ...

Re: My Astra lost remaining oil life memory

To my mind, in theory at least, if the car really is sensing the quality of the oil I would expect it to drop back down fairly quickly as even though you've reset it, the oil quality is still less than optimal.
