Re: Service schedule ?

As above, will be due it's second service. Brake fluid isn't an official part of that service, but Vauxhall do recommend it's changed every two years. Vauxhall agreed to pay for my second service as a gesture of good will due to messing me about, and even paid for the brake fluid change.

Re: Would you buy again?

I'm planning on keeping mine for a good few years yet, but if i was going to change it I'd certainly consider another Astra, maybe an ST next time.

Re: NEED URGENT HELP

It seems to me if a member of dealer staff has caused the damage it is down to the dealership to put right, not Vauxhall, and the cost is their problem not yours.

Re: Android Auto (again!)

I have now the same issues with waze. It crashes occasionaly and the best solution seems to be to remove the cache and memory from the android auto app (in the apps list,no need to remove the entire app) and to reload first the android auto on the gsm (to give the permissions). I also have the issu...

Re: Android Auto (again!)

Not had that problem, I tend to use Waze as a preference. The only problem I have with it is if I use voice commands to enter a destination Waze comes up with a list of destinations, and when I touch the one I want it usually won't load the directions. I occasionally see the start navigation screen ...

Re: Locking wheel nuts

The key for the locking wheel nuts isn't in the toolkit, it comes seperately as they are fitted at the dealers I believe. Mine is kept in the little pull down compartment to the right of the steering wheel. If you've got locking nuts it'll be obvious by looking at them. I'm not sure if they were fit...

Second hand Vauxhall was previous owner.
I'm guessing that's why you had to do it then and I didn't as I am the first owner of mine.

Re: On star

Just an update on this, a replacement is being developled based on PSA Tech. Should be rolled out by 2024. http://media.opel.com/media/intl/en/opel/home.detail.html/content/Pages/news/intl/en/2018/opel/05-09-new-connectivity-services.html That reads to me that the new service will only be available...

Re: On star

Hi Just had the email. They already have destroyed the brand as far as I’m concerned and I will not be buying another vauxhall. British brand since 1903 what a load of b*******s it isn’t British anymore, however, because the HQ is in Luton they can get away with saying this. Cheers Paul It's not be...
