Re: Do the parking sensors make sense?

I see what you mean about the sensors going off in town..and it is a little annoying. But they work great tbh. NB if you ever undo your seatbelt before you have finished parking....the sensors make a hell of a crunching sound if you get too close to the wall

Re: Road Grime Removal

Not heard of a clay mitt... I'll use that next time it's clay time.

Actually I've found the best stuff to get the gritty stuff off is petrol. Which is the main ingredient in tar remover.

Re: Headlights?

If your budget can stretch.. go for the Intellilux Lights. The difference is unbelievable. The auto feature is a pain as it doesn't bloody work.. but the night time driving is now something I look forward to.

Re: doors holding water

Yes mine does that too. No point taking it back.. they ain't gonna be able to fix it.. and you likely won't get a replacement. Just another bloody design flaw they are aware of.

Re: No Chimes

Thank you, I will try that and see what happens. I went in to the local dealer and the service receptionist said he had no idea and promptly let me unattended. Heheh, left you unattended. I find that quite common bud if the guy doesn't know the answer. They can tell you about the new grille...the n...

Re: Road Grime Removal

Thanks for the info fellas. You are right about detailing world....lots of info with links to errr...expensive shampoos. But it did give me info on what to buy from the local car shop. Degreaser and snow foam. It has the unfortunate result of removing the wax which is a drawback. But if that's how t...

Re: Annoying 3 short beeps

If the OP is talking about three short beeps inside the car, mine does that when the lane assist feature is active and you override it and stay too long on the white line.

The horn goes off three times when I leave it in Drive instead of Park and then leave the vehicle..but then I have an Automatic.

Re: Mounting TPMS Sensors (Wheel Balancing)

Hello PSK, I work for Schenck who supply balancing machines to all OEM wheel and tyre manufacturers. Including the factory next to Vauxhall in Ellesmere Port. All wheels are out of balance, it is merely the amount that varies. Like anything it is impossible to be perfect, you work to a tolerance. Yo...

Road Grime Removal

Hi fellas. I wash my car every week and also apply good quality wax three or four times a year or so. At this time of year although the paint is shiny, it tends to get dirt stuck to it down the sides, bottom of the doors and round the wheels. You cant see it but it feels rough to the touch. I have b...
