Re: Standard headlights vs IntelliLux hadlights

I agree that the intellilux are the best part of the car. The vision at night is extraordinary. I could never go back to normal bulbs. However.. the automatic sensor for on and off is a problem. It doesn't work properly and Vauxhall can't fix it or don't care. When my headlights come on during the d...

Re: Intellilux lights issue

The best feature on my car are the Intellilux headlights. These lighting faults and Vauxhalls dismissal of their seriousness have 100% made my decision to not have my 4th Vauxhall due this year. I went for Astra because its uk made. It's time to switch to the Focus. Problem is the Ford Service Centr...

Re: Do the parking sensors make sense?

I see what you mean about the sensors going off in town..and it is a little annoying. But they work great tbh. NB if you ever undo your seatbelt before you have finished parking....the sensors make a hell of a crunching sound if you get too close to the wall

Re: Road Grime Removal

Not heard of a clay mitt... I'll use that next time it's clay time.

Actually I've found the best stuff to get the gritty stuff off is petrol. Which is the main ingredient in tar remover.

Re: Headlights?

If your budget can stretch.. go for the Intellilux Lights. The difference is unbelievable. The auto feature is a pain as it doesn't bloody work.. but the night time driving is now something I look forward to.

Re: doors holding water

Yes mine does that too. No point taking it back.. they ain't gonna be able to fix it.. and you likely won't get a replacement. Just another bloody design flaw they are aware of.

Re: No Chimes

Thank you, I will try that and see what happens. I went in to the local dealer and the service receptionist said he had no idea and promptly let me unattended. Heheh, left you unattended. I find that quite common bud if the guy doesn't know the answer. They can tell you about the new grille...the n...

Re: Road Grime Removal

Thanks for the info fellas. You are right about detailing world....lots of info with links to errr...expensive shampoos. But it did give me info on what to buy from the local car shop. Degreaser and snow foam. It has the unfortunate result of removing the wax which is a drawback. But if that's how t...
