Same with mine they lasted 10k miles. Michelins or any other expensive tyre are false economy. I paid £38 for my current ones and I've had 7k miles out of them with 5mm left of tread. I do believe expensive tyres are good for the first month then they degrade really quickly and end up being the sam...

Mine has a full tray, 1.0L T also. Tbh I have not seen a K with a full tray you must be lucky.... lol I just looked on ebay now and only seen the part trays you lot have! I took mine off to service my car and it's definitely a full tray. A pain in the ass the full tray is too i must add :lol:

The astra has a under tray. I would just have the oil filter changed again to rule it out.

1.0L T owned since new and currently 3 years old with 30k miles on it. Have serviced it myself using dexos 2 gen 1 oil. Every 10k miles it has had a service and not had any problems with the car whatsoever.
Getting 50 mpg with a average speed of 25mph.

Yeah, I agree with the above. If you can do the work yourself, I can't see the problem. You can't cause any problems by changing fluids/filters early. I neither said that you can't do the work yourself or that it would cause any problems! The person to start this post asked how often to change the ...

Do them every year it’s only a tenner and takes 5 mins..... Waste of money, time and effort. Yep £10 a year and about 5 mins of my time. I feel totally ripped off tbh..... ?? I do a full service inc all filters and fluids in my cars every year regardless of mileage always have always will. Well goo...
