Re: Intellilux

Nothing. I just swap cars over when they get to 3 years old. It's a habit. Fair enough I would just keep the one you have tbh. Unless it has mega miles and or is knackered. It probably costs more to change than fix/service anything needed.... I did not want the LED headlights one of my friends has ...

Re: Intellilux

Damn. thank you. It's a shame because they are fantastic but I'm not going to spend huge amounts of money to retrofit them, and evidently not many people are willing to fit them to their SRIs when new. I was lucky when I got mine. I didn't even know until I went to collect the car. Even the salesman...

Intellilux

I've got a 66plate SRI NAV 1.4 (150) and am about to chop it in for a newer one (approx 1 year old) Trouble is we were lucky enough to get Intellilux with our current car and I can't find ANY for sale with that option(!) so my question is.....is it easy enough to retrofit Intellilux into a 68 SRI? I...

Re: Infotainment - Corrupt & flashing screen

So I got my car back from the dealer on 16th May and they just replaced the "whole unit" straight away rather than just the screen and it's all working fine now. I used quotes around "whole unit" because that's what I was told but I'm not quite sure what the guy really meant by that. I expected a sy...

Re: New recall

Finally got my car back after just shy of three months, couple of questions, are they supposed to come back clean, I’ve picked it up and it’s thilfy, inside and out, also a lot more miles on the car which I’m assuming is part of the recall? And to top it off the glove box and boot contents are scat...

Re: Electric parking brake fault

I had a 60 plate Astra J with electronic handbrake that released and nearly crushed me against a wall (I was looking the other way as it rolled back toward me and only just noticed before it hit me!). Cost me a new bumper and respray only 2 months after buying it. After I brief fling with a 1 series...

Re: Car keeps pulling left

Steering angle sensor!!! Yes I forgot I had the same fault on a BMW 1 series! It took the dealer 3 attempts to correct the wheel alignment before they figured that one out. Many Astra K's appear to suffer from pulling to the left so I wonder if this is becoming a common fault on this car. Mine still...

Re: Infotainment - Corrupt & flashing screen

Hi Nathan, Sorry I haven't been replied - been away from the site for a while. Mine is also a 66 Astra SRI nav 1.4t and I'm still waiting for the car to be looked at!!! I need a courtesy car and the soonest they could give me one is 16th May(!) so I'll have to post an update once they've seen it. Th...
