Re: Safe to buy a used 1.4t?

Hi guys been shopping and watching the used market for a few months. Am I right in thinking the lspi issues have been solved on this engine? Bit concerned as I see vauxhall only offer the 1.2t from new now. Thoughts? ( read through the lspi thread and seems that up to first half of 2017 ended the m...

Re: Newbie/Oldbie

Drive a 2016 / 2017 fiesta St Boroboy and your fillings will fall out lol , hardest cars I've ever driven but my god did it handle well ! My Astra 1.6t wouldn't get near it around a roundabout , the little ST would be gone but on a straight very even.

I'm on comfort settings as well and it's fine. But I totally understand with people af...

Re: Newbie/Oldbie

Still driving the Astra 1.6t Sri vx-line nav , cracker of a car . Compared to the seat Leon the Astra is better & worse in different areas (my opinion). But I reckon I might just keep the Astra for quite some time as its blend of performance / economy is perfect for me. I think I recall you mentioni...

Re: Transmission service and Engine power reduced warnings

I'm a petrol head I'm afraid so can't really comment on diesel issues but the reduced power issue has popped up before on here somewhere , try and do a forum search for the issue and see if there is any info.

Re: Transmission service and Engine power reduced warnings

Prob cheapest way is to get car inspected by a good independent garage. They will do a code read and advise you from there.
Agree VX charge you an arm and a leg before even stepping into the showroom lol these days.
