Re: csr side skirts

Yeah no worries. I had mine when they had a sale on, so could be worth the wait? Local body shop sprayed them for £40 and csr supplied the adhesive. Pretty easy to fit, but suggest someone giving you a hand. Me again :D I've had the CSR skirts fitted to my car for a few weeks now. I noticed in your...

Re: So it's now official LED & HID are an MOT fail.

Nothing has actually changed, LED bulbs were never legal either as they are not "type approved" (e marked) for use in the UK.

I still think that as long as the beam pattern is correct, they'll have no reason to open up the headlamp housing

Re: astra k 1.6 cdti fan working after engine is off

The fan will also stay on if the car, being a diesel, was doing a regen when you turned it off. This wouldn't explain the error message though. As above, it needs plugging in & codes reading :)

Re: Main beam failure

It doesn't have a fuse for the low beams, only the high beam bulbs are fused. Start by refitting the halogens and see if they work. What LED bulbs did you fit?

I was basically at a loose end today hoping my bonnet struts would come - they didn't until it was too dark - lol and remembered someone mentioning they'd modded a Zafira C switch to use on their Matri...
