Re: New button - find the end

Thanks!! Is that connector a exstention wire or a electronic unit? Thats just a connection to make it easier to remove the center tunnel. From there the wires go to the left of the car, just in front of the door/a pillar. You can see the 7 connectors from the footwell, from there they go into the B...

Re: New button - find the end

The wire from the connector goes to a large multiplug on the right hand side of the center tunnel.
If you remove the piece on the side of the tunnel and the foot compartment (just pull) you will see the other end of it.
Don't ask me about the pin arrangement, havent got a clue.

Re: rpm when shifting from 1st to 2nd in 1.4t?

CVT auto is something very different mate, there basically are no gears. But this type of gearbox is only found on the facelift 1.4 astra K.

Re: rpm when shifting from 1st to 2nd in 1.4t?

What do you mean by ‘shifting is not good’? The shifting itself should not matter regardless what rpm you are shifting at. The picking up of the engine after shifting is affected by what rpm you shift. Anyway the gearbox is not suitable for quick shifting, unfortunately. Move through the gears with ...

Re: Intellilux headlights problems

It is also potentially dangerous if your halogen bulb fails during this high speed drive? Don't over-dramatize things as you always do. Vauxhall/Opel react as they should in this case. There is an official service bulletin on this matter now. If you have a failed Intellilux headlamp or if it shows c...

Re: Intellilux Functionality

Early models (not sure untill which MY) did not remember the setting of the 'A'. At some point there was a software update which made this available. All new cars and cars with the update will remeber the setting of the 'A'. However, during daytime when you flash the high beam it will automatically ...

Re: Heated wing mirrors

If the mirrors are fogged up they will clear up quite quickly. If they have (larger) drops of condensation on them it will take a lot longer, as the little heat is not always enough to evaporate big drops.

That came to me as a big surprise!
On Corsa E only left and right part were heated. Astra has 360 degree heated wheel.
Even the ‘flat bottom’ part of the wheel is heated, that surprised me the most.
