Re: New EliteNav 1.6t and 0-60 times

Just had my new Elite Nav 200 delivered, the Cosmic Grey one on the left. On the right is my 2016 Elite Nav 200, being collected later today. I would drive them back to back to see if I could notice the difference in the new 0 to 60 times, but as the new one only has 158 delivery miles on it, the en...

Re: New EliteNav 1.6t and 0-60 times

My previous "quick" cars were a Vectra GSI and a Alfa 156 V6, both were in the mid 7 secs, those were some time ago though and my transport for the last three years has been a SEAT Ibiza 1.2t which got there in 8.8 and economical, perfectly acceptable for my short commute. So an Astra with a 0-60 i...

Re: New EliteNav 1.6t and 0-60 times

I currently own a 2016 1.6T 200 Elite Nav with the claimed 6.6 seconds to 60mph. It is indeed a very quick car and I have been very impressed with it over the last two years. I’ve got a replacement identical car coming next month (apart from the colour) and was slightly concerned by the increased 0 ...

Re: Alarm keeps going off

Sorry to hear about your Dad, as you say, car problems is probably the last thing you need right now. I had this when my Astra was only 7 weeks old. Alarm couldn’t be stopped at all, even after disconnecting the battery. Had to go back to Vauxhall for a new alarm box to be fitted. Apparently they ha...

Re: 0-60 times

I’ve been wondering about that too. I’ve currently got a 2016 1.6T and have just ordered a new replacement to be delivered in November. The quoted bhp and torque figures are exactly the same and so is the top speed, but 0 to 60 slower. I asked the question on another well known motoring forum and th...

Re: Finally tracked down a 1.6T

Do you find a big difference between the 1.4T 150 and the 1.6T 200?

Re: What is the colour name for this car?

Thanks. Looks like they don’t offer that colour anymore, well at least on the Elite Nav they don’t. Shame as it looks great. I suppose Cosmic grey is the nearest to it. Really don’t like the Emerald green I currently have. Looks great when clean on a sunny day, but other than that looks really flat ...

What is the colour name for this car?

Can someone please tell me which colour this is please? I think it is either Cosmic Grey or Dark Caramel, probably the former. I'm about to order a new lease Astra 1.6T Elite Nav to replace my current Emerald Green one. Saw this colour on a car on Auto Trader and really like it. Thanks. http://i1358...

Re: Do brand new Astras have limited power and revs?

With only 7km on the clock the engine was probably still tight. Engines free up considerably over the first few thousand miles making the car feel a lot quicker over time.

Any high mileage 1.6T Petrol cars out there?

Once the lease runs out on my 1.6T Elite Nav I’m looking to buy the exact same spec car, probably a couple of years old with approx 30,000 miles. Just wondered if anyone has covered high miles in their 1.6T.? I’ve read horror stories about Cora’s VXR’s melting piston 4, I presume the Astra uses the ...
