I have the 1.0 Turbo, done 5k since we got it in October and no problems at all. Averaging 41mpg over about 4k miles.
I averaged 44 mpg over 20,000k miles in my last 1.6T, so fuel consupmtion is really not bad in the 1.6T

Re: 0-60 times

I’ve been wondering about that too. I’ve currently got a 2016 1.6T and have just ordered a new replacement to be delivered in November. The quoted bhp and torque figures are exactly the same and so is the top speed, but 0 to 60 slower. I asked the question on another well known motoring forum and t...

Re: Anyone had ANY 1.6t problems?

I’ve had two 1.6T 200 Elite Navs. First one covered 27,000 with no issues with the engine. Present one has 4,000 miles, again with no issues.

Only issue I did experience with the first one was an issue when the alarm went off and couldn’t be silenced. Not 1.6T related though.

Re: e brake didn't release!

I thought I had this issue when I first got my Astra K, a couple of times it wouldn’t release. Then a fellow member on here kindly pointed out you need to tap the accelerator.

Re: Who loves the Astra K?

I’m on my 2nd Astra K 1.6T. Loved the first one so much, I replaced it with another. Nothing comes close for performance and kit for the money.

Re: New EliteNav 1.6t and 0-60 times

The fuel consumption should get much better as the engine beds in. My old one averaged 44mpg over the 27,000 miles I had it, whereas the new one has only averaged 36mpg so far in the 600 miles its done.

Re: New EliteNav 1.6t and 0-60 times

Just had my new Elite Nav 200 delivered, the Cosmic Grey one on the left. On the right is my 2016 Elite Nav 200, being collected later today. I would drive them back to back to see if I could notice the difference in the new 0 to 60 times, but as the new one only has 158 delivery miles on it, the en...

Re: New EliteNav 1.6t and 0-60 times

My previous "quick" cars were a Vectra GSI and a Alfa 156 V6, both were in the mid 7 secs, those were some time ago though and my transport for the last three years has been a SEAT Ibiza 1.2t which got there in 8.8 and economical, perfectly acceptable for my short commute. So an Astra with a 0-60 i...

Re: New EliteNav 1.6t and 0-60 times

I currently own a 2016 1.6T 200 Elite Nav with the claimed 6.6 seconds to 60mph. It is indeed a very quick car and I have been very impressed with it over the last two years. I’ve got a replacement identical car coming next month (apart from the colour) and was slightly concerned by the increased 0 ...

Re: Alarm keeps going off

Sorry to hear about your Dad, as you say, car problems is probably the last thing you need right now. I had this when my Astra was only 7 weeks old. Alarm couldn’t be stopped at all, even after disconnecting the battery. Had to go back to Vauxhall for a new alarm box to be fitted. Apparently they ha...
