Because main dealers don't retrofit equipment. It is possible but you need a competent person to do it.

You need the switch the mirrors and it will need wiring as well look up VX MODs and PM him he fits them all professionally he fits OEM parts very good guy his work is better than the factory he knows is stuff on vauxhalls speaking from experience.

So swapping the loom is it just a case of unplugging it from your wheel and plugging into the wheel looking at this but I the heated wheel so would need the same from the Siggy. And is airbag removal the usual pin system in the back of the wheel I'm guessing.

im guessing yuo could fit an aftermarket kit but the oem works with the infotainment system for the camera etc and would need programming for that and the switch in the car even if it could be fitted,

Well that was sadly a project too far for me im normally very good fitted power mirrors gear gater lighting etc to my insignia just could not get the climate console surround out and the centre console felt like i would break something so i gave up before it did.

I have the Corsa switch it does make a big difference however you cannot turn off the DRLs at all which is fine. I have rain sensitive wipers and when in that position and raining fairly heavy it kicks the lights on but does not dim the dash select off and the lights go off after acouple of seconds....

Just a thought have you checked the fuses for the central locking circuit in case one has popped for any reason.
