Hi all, I don't want a full exhaust system so I naively bought an exhaust tip which is supposed to be for this car however it's nowhere near the size I need. Any ideas on solutions, I just want something to finish the rear off. Vauxhall missed a trick here, they should have put one on the 150 T. Something like the 1.6 T but just one pipe. I couldn't believe how big the 1.4 T exhaust was.
Hi, you can watch a video on you tube posted by Mr Gheasi and if you like the tip that he is fitting you can buy it on amazon Simoni Racing TRX/68 Universal Oval DTM Unloading Terminal Inclined ÂŁ21.04 fits simple as a pimple looks pretty good and its all stainless. Had mine on over a year now and still looks great.
Please can anyone advise is the trx86 exhaust tip will fit the tail pipe of an Atra K 1.4t SRI, as shown I the photo as the tail pipe outlet is not circular and is has a wider diameter across than front to rear.
The exhaust is round, but if you cut a pipe not perpendicular but at an angle the end looks like an oval, but the pipe itself is still is round. Make sure you find a tip which you can slide over far enough and you'll be fine.
I have now fitted the TRX 86 exhaust tip properly.
It is quite an easy tip to fit and there is a bit of adjustment to align the tip to suit the rear of your car.
It makes the rear of my SRI look a lot better. It is a shame the cars did not have some sort of exhaust tip fitted as standard like the Corsa's or 1.6t models.

Thanks for posting info.
Looking good, now finished.
I've just bought one, I'll post pics once fitted.
Same colour car & engine as yours
I don't like the way some modern cars are going now with hidden exhaust tips.
Suppose once we go electric, it won't make a difference
I could measure the inside of it, prior to me fitting it, if you like? I paid around ÂŁ21 for mine off Amazon with free delivery, if you don't have prime, which I don't.

I was considering them Valer but I didn't think they'd look right on Flip-Chip so just went for the LED bulbs instead. I do wonder what the point of the dynamic ones are for the repeaters as they don't exactly point in the direction of travel ! Obviously just a styling issue.........and I already know I have no style at all so no surprise there
Yes Shaky i couldn't see much point in the dynamic ones either,
btw i've been meaning to contact you about the various trim clips you sourced, currently having trouble with those green ones on my lads tailgate trim.
He's a pic of mine for comparison. Width of tip around 6.5cm, depth around 9cm (measuring from the back of car towards the front). Hope that's helps?
Also took a pic of the inside of the new exhaust tip too.
