As it says on the tin, stopped working on Saturday, cant select the sat nav or do anything using the screen. Have tried a few things but still not working. Everything seems to work but not via the touchscreen,
You could try pulling fuses 36 and 37 in the instrument fuse box located behind the power flex bar or the pocket, depending on what model it is. Leave them out for a minute or so then replace. May work may not
First time, the 6 buttons under the screen didn't work. Turn car off on didn't help. After the car had been off for an hour or so everything worked again.
Then a week later the touchscreen didn't work. Buttons were fine.
Same story, turning car off for a few hours and everything was working again.
I've got it booked in next Monday, dealer says there is an update to the infotainment so hopefully it will help.
If you want to check your version number before and after the update, you can look in below thread how to do it. At least if you have the Intellilink R4.0. I do not know if it works with the navigator system. https://www.astrakforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=3428

I had my car in yesterday so they could check my infotainment.
They didn't find anything wrong with it, but I will get the screen replaced anyway as they have seen this error a few times before.
Seems the Astra can get in a tizz if you try and start it too early as I've had various lockups. Turn on ignition, wait for needle sweep, start car seems to work all the time.
My Astra Tech Line 2017 is on its 4th touchscreen. Each year after a cold night fluid is seen behind the screen. I have taken 1 year extended warranty, this fluid appeared a few days ago . At moment touchscreen is still working.
does anyone know a firm that can repair the intelli 900 unit
